  There are few things that define a cult as strongly as the restrictions on expressing doubt. The rules are never express doubt to superiors lest they chastise you. And never express doubt to subordinates lest they lose confidence in you.

  If an organization insists that you put aside all doubt and follow mindlessly then once again, perhaps it is time to take a second look. Doubting brings thinking. Thinking brings questioning. Questioning requires answers. Answers are the last thing a con-man wants to have happen. Later on we will look at how this indicator is used in applying mind control.

  One of the strongest controls that a cult has over its' members is never allowing doubt to creep in.
